18/10/2007 17th Oct 2007 - Resumption of ADF/NDFAS visits in FMD free area Following the lifting of FMD restrictions throughout much of the country on 17th Oct 2007, ADF/NDFAS farm assurance visits are to return to normal arrangements in this areas. Visits remain suspended in the FMD Restricted Area and Surveillance Zone.
10/8/2007 FMD - WEEK 1 - REVIEW / UPDATE With general livestock movement restrictions still in place, the
suspension of ADF farm visits shall remain for at least another week (to
Saturday 18th August 2007). The situation will continue to be monitored closely and reviewed again next week, in conjunction with the other AFS sector
schemes. 5/8/2007 FMD OUTBREAK - FRIDAY 03 AUGUST 2007 - ADF INSPECTIONS SUSPENDED Following Friday (03 August 2007) night's confirmation of an FMD outbreak on a farm near Guildford and the subsequent UK ban on livestock movements, all ADF farm visits are to be suspended. 13/9/2006 ALL NDFAS / ADF INSPECTIONS REMAIN SUSPENDED FOLLOWING FURTHER FMD OUTBREAK IN SURREY ON WEDNESDAY 12 SEPTEMBER 2007. Following confirmation of a further outbreak of Foot & Mouth Disease (FMD) in Surrey on Wednesday 12 September 2007, all ADF / NDFAS inspections have again been suspended. As previously, the clock / calander for determining the next audit due dates and rectification period is again frozen.
